Federal Way PAEC offers livestream comedy special Aug. 29

Tickets now available for Yakov Smirnoff’s “United We Laugh” virtual comedy special.

Have a laugh from the comfort of your own home with an upcoming comedy show, presented by the Federal Way Performing Arts and Events Center.

Yakov Smirnoff: “United We Laugh” is a livestream comedy special event set for 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 29.

Smirnoff, a comedian, author and Russian immigrant, has performed on “The Tonight Show” with Johnny Carson and has also starred in movies with Tom Hanks, Robin Williams, Jack Nicholson and more.

A comedic take on his journey after escaping communist Soviet Russia in the 1970s, Smirnoff’s 75-minute comedy special “will leave you in stitches laughing and shedding a tear at the same time,” according to the website.

The PAEC is offering general admission tickets and Backstage Pass tickets which include a chance to virtually chat with Smirnoff. Tickets start at $25 and can be purchased at feelitlive.com.
