The annual fundraiser is a community staple in Federal Way.

The 70th annual Kiwanis Salmon Bake returned to sunny Steel Lake Park on Friday, July 24 as one of Federal Way Kiwanis’ big fundraiser.

Supporters were treated to a wine and beer garden, live music, silent auction, card wall and, of course, some delicious baked salmon. Prepared by John Hatcher of Cafe Pacific, supporters were treated to Alder-grilled, maple-rubbed salmon, garden salad, potato salad, corn on the cob and Jimmy Mac’s rolls with honey butter.
