Meet Alfred | Pet of the Week

Alfred is a 1-year-old male Chihuahua mix, about 8 pounds (ID #A494128).

This sweet guy can be shy at first. He’s still getting used to walking on a leash and prefers to walk in quiet places instead of busy streets. He would do best in a home with kids 10 years or older who understand he needs to get used to them and be treated gently.

The vets at the shelter diagnosed Alfred with a heart murmur, and he’ll need regular vet checkups in his new home. If you’re looking for a very excited, very happy guy to join your family, Alfred could be the one for you! He would love to meet you and would also need to meet any current dogs in your home to make sure they get along. Alfred is neutered and micro-chipped.

You can meet Alfred and additional animals available for adoption seven days a week at RASKC’s King County Pet Adoption Center in Kent (21615 64th Ave. S.) on Mondays from 3-6 p.m., Tuesdays through Fridays from noon-6 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays from noon-5 p.m.
