Kingdom Hope announced that Pacific Northwest Soccer Club player Madison Still is the recipient of Kingdom Hope’s first Soccer on Us scholarship. Madison, a member of the club’s Girls 98 Blue team, will receive a $500 award to help support her ability to play club soccer.

Madison was one of 12 applicants who competed for the inaugural Soccer on Us scholarship award. Applicants were evaluated on a number of criteria including their dedication and talent for the game, academic excellence and community involvement.

Madison is a sophomore at Thomas Jefferson High School, where she is ranked first in her class, while maintaining a 4.0 GPA and taking all honors and International Baccalaureate classes. As a freshman, Madison earned a spot on Thomas Jefferson’s varsity soccer team and received the Coaches Award that same year. As a sophomore, Madison was named captain of her varsity squad.

In receiving this award, Madison said, “I am honored to be the recipient of the Kingdom Hope Scholarship. I think it is great Mr. Zakuani has offered this to our club and they recognized me for all of my accomplishments in both soccer and school.”

When asked to describe Madison, Girls 98 Blue coach Dan Drew said, “Madison is an ever-present and a wholly reliable member of our team who shows up with an unfaltering commitment to work hard, to develop her already highly proficient skills and to achieve the very best from every moment on the field.”
