The Historical Society of Federal Way recently hired two employees: Karen Meador in outreach and development and Jeneva Scherr as an administrator.
“We are very pleased to have heritage preservation-experienced employees to work for us,” said Diana Noble-Gulliford, president of the society. “Karen and Jeneva will serve the Society well in bringing with them the expertise needed to implement our strategic plan to better serve the greater Federal Way community.”
Meador joins the Historical Society with vast experience serving heritage preservation organizations like AKCHO, Black Diamond, Neely Mansion and others. Scherr, meanwhile, has experience with the Museum of Flight, the White River Valley Museum and the Tacoma Art Museum. She currently studies museology at the University of Washington in Seattle.
