Alexander, McDaniels, Flavors named to All-State basketball team

Nia Alexander and Jalen McDaniels have been named to the Associated Press’ All-State basketball teams.

Alexander, a University of San Francisco commit, was a key player for Todd Beamer’s girls team as the Titans took third place in the state tournament for the second year in a row.

McDaniels, a San Diego State commit, was integral on the Federal Way boys team as the Eagles won the state championship for the second consecutive year. He was the team’s leading scorer.

Ferron Flavors, another key member of the Federal Way state championship run, was an honorable mention for the boys All-State team.
