All-City Boys Soccer Team is an impressive bunch

Forwards

Austin Egerton, Jefferson — The senior led the SPSL champion Raiders in scoring with an impressive 17 goals. Egerton had four multi-goal games and scored in a total of 12 games for TJ. Was a first-team, All-SPSL North selection.

Dominique Dismuke, Decatur — The Gator sophomore was a scoring machine for the SPSL South champions this season. Dismuke finished with 14 goals and seven assists. He had four multi-goal games, including a pair of hat tricks. It was Dismuke’s second season in a row with 14 goals.

Isidro Prado-Huerta, Jefferson — The freshman had a tremendous first year for the Raiders. Prado-Huerta finished with eight goals and eight assists, including two goals during a key 3-2 win over Kentridge on April 7. Also, all of Prado-Huerta’s points came during TJ wins.

Ugo Okoli, Beamer — The talented junior led the Titans with seven goals during the season. But Okoli missed Beamer’s state quarterfinal loss to Federal Way to travel to Portugal with the US under-17 National Team.

Midfielders

Josh Smith, Decatur — The senior was back on the field this year for the Decatur Gators after playing for Crossfire Premier in the US Soccer Development Academy Program. The midfielder finished with 12 goals and seven assists for the SPSL South champions. Smith will play at Oregon State University in the fall.

Troy Peterson, Beamer — The junior was again a huge playmaker for the Titans. Peterson, a first-team, All-SPSL South selection for the third time, finished with six goals for Beamer. Peterson had two goals during the Titans’ 3-2 win over Evergreen in the opening round of the Class 4A state tournament.

Austin Sweeney, Beamer — The sophomore led the Titans in points this season. Sweeney tallied six goals and 13 assists and also had Beamer’s lone goal during their 5-1 loss to Federal Way in the state quarterfinals. Sweeney was recently named to the Sounders FC U-16 Academy Team, which will start up in the summer.

Chase Hanson, Jefferson — The junior was the Raiders’ playmaking midfielder and keyed Jefferson’s run to the SPSL title. Hanson finished with only four goals and four assists, but his true effect on a game doesn’t show up on the stat sheet. The first-team, All-SPSL North midfielder controlled the pace of the game from the middle of the field. Will be a big-time recruit next year as a senior.

Jim Oganga, Jefferson — The speedy midfielder was a first-team, All-SPSL North selection after scoring five goals and dishing out seven assists. Oganga had a goal in the Raiders’ SPSL championship win over Decatur and also scored during TJ’s state tournament loss to Marysville-Pilchuck.

Casey Kim, Jefferson — The sophomore was a solid player on the outside for the Raiders. Kim had five goals and two assists, including two goals during a 4-2 win over Federal Way on May 1.

Defenders

Kodey Eley, Federal Way — The senior was back on the field for the Eagles this year after playing last season with Crossfire Premier in the US Soccer Development Academy Program. Eley will play in the fall at Evergreen State College in Olympia and finished the season with two goals and five assists for Federal Way. He was a first-team, All-SPSL North selection.

Erik Lissak, Beamer — The senior is headed to Western Washington University in the fall to play for the Vikings. Lissak finished the season with two assists and helped the Titans’ defense throw 10 shutouts during the year. He was a first-team, All-SPSL South selection.

Goalkeeper

Conner Adkisson, Decatur — The freshman is already one of the elite goalkeepers in the area. He led the Gators’ to the SPSL South Division title by posting nine shutouts and was the leader of a Decatur defense that allowed only 13 goals the entire season. Adkisson also was recently selected to play for the Sounders FC under-16 Academy Team.
