Army lieutenant from Federal Way graduates college

Todd Beamer High School graduate Lt. Lauren Thomas graduated in May from the University of Portland with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
Thomas attended college on a four-year Army ROTC scholarship and received a commission as a second lieutenant.
Thomas will serve on active duty in the U.S. Army Nurse Corps.
