June 10
• There were no vehicle thefts reported and no vehicles were recovered on this day.
• Dog bite at Olive Garden: At approximately 7 p.m. officers responded to the St Francis Hospital to document a dog bite that occurred at the Olive Garden Restaurant on Enchanted Parkway S in Federal Way.
• Party’s over: A group of about 20 juveniles ran out of the shattered, rear glass door of a vacant apartment unit after a fire alarm went off at around 5 p.m. The apartments are located on SW Campus Drive.
• KFC road rage: A traffic dispute started around 11:45 a.m. when a black sedan cut off the reporting party while merging, then sped out of sight. Shortly after the reporting party was at the KFC order window when the driver of the black sedan walked up to his vehicle and sprayed mace directly into his face.
June 11
• There was one vehicle theft reported and no vehicles were recovered on this day.
• Juveniles maced: Officers responded to a welfare check at approximately 8 p.m. when a woman called to say that juveniles who continously harrass her were approaching her apartment. Instead of waiting for the police, she opened her door and deployed pepper spray at the juveniles.
June 12
• There was one vehicle theft reported and no vehicles were recovered on this day.
• Spiked car: Officers put spikes under the tire of a running vehicle that was blocking traffic at about 7:40 p.m. on Enchanted Parkway S after a report that an intoxicated woman was slumped over the driver’s seat. When they discovered she was not intoxicated, the vehicle was simply disabled and she needed assistance, they moved the vehicle to a nearby parking lot but forgot to remove the spikes, damaging the tire.
• God said so: At approximately 1:45 p.m. officers responded to a call from a woman who noticed a white van following her as she drove to church. The van parked next to her and she asked the driver if he needed help, to which he responded “God told me to follow this black car”
• Fake money: A man attempted to use a counterfeit $100 bill at approximately 1 a.m. to buy food at Dick’s Drive In. The manager retained the bill and the man walked away but was detained by police and questioned but did not seem to be able to distinguish reality and fantasy. He willingly handed over 42 more counterfeit bills with the same serial number.
June 13
• There were no vehicle thefts reported and no vehicles were recovered on this day.
• Lost child: Officers helped to locate a 7-year-old child at approximately 7:45 a.m. and returned him to his home.
June 14
• There were no vehicle thefts reported and no vehicles were recovered on this day.
• Guitars stolen: A storage unit near the 2000 block of SW 356th St. was broken into and a burglarized and the victim’s vast collection of older guitars, cases and amplifiers were stolen.
• Electric scooter hit and run: Officers responded to a report of a vehicle and electric scooter collision with one injured at approximately 11:58 a.m. The collison occurred near the 29100 block of Pacific Highway S. Officers provided aid until the fire department arrived and the driver of the other vehicle fled the scene.
• Loaded magazine found: At approximately 3 a.m. officers responded to the 27300 block of 24th Ave. S. for an unrelated dispute when they found a glock magazine loaded with 16 rounds of 9mm in a grassy area.
June 15
•There were no vehicle thefts reported and no vehicles were recovered on this day.
• Robbery: At approximately 6:55 p.m. oficers responded to a recent robbery with a firearam near the 2300 block of S. 320th St.
• Cracked windshield: An unlicensed black sedan engaged in ggressive driving behavior, cutting the reporting party off and throwing a bottle of liquor at their vehicle, striking the windshield. A video of the incident exists but because there was technically no damage to the windshield, it was technically not a crime.
