From the sidelines:
Tygee Roy has quickly established himself as one of the top young sprinters in Washington. The freshman standout has posted impressive times of 11.58 in the 100m, 22.50 in the 200m, and a blazing 49.98 in the 400m. He recently placed 8th at the prestigious Oregon Relays at the University of Oregon, competing against elite talent, and was the only freshman in the finals. Tygee’s early success points to a very promising future on the track.
In addition to his success on the track, Tygee is a great young man who represents Federal Way well. He is hardworking, respectful, coachable, and a supportive teammate. He has made a strong impression not only as an athlete, but also as a person.
