Todd Beamer grad earns military honors

First Lt. Lauren Gabbert, RN BSN, a 2011 graduate of Todd Beamer High School, recently graduated from the U.S. Army perioperative nursing course at Madigan Army Medical Center at Joint Base Lewis-McChord in Washington. Gabbert earned Distinguished Honor Graduate honors and was awarded the Army Achievement Medal at graduation ceremonies. Gabbert was a four-year ROTC scholarship cadet at the University of Portland and is currently stationed at Ft. Bragg in North Carolina. She is married to U.S. Army Capt. Taylor Gabbert, 82nd Airborne.
