FUSION annual benefit event, Aug. 3, to have Bollywood theme

Tickets are on sale for FUSION’s only 2016 fundraiser, an art event with a Bollywood theme, which will be held Wednesday, Aug. 3, at the Dumas Bay Centre from 3-9 p.m.

Local artists will display and sell original works, and multiple food stations provided by the Mediterranean Gyro Grill of Federal Way will be set up throughout the venue. Silent and live auctions will be held, offering a variety of experiences and items. Bollywood-style entertainment and themes promise to keep the festivities fun.

Admission is $65 through July 27 and $75 after that date. Tickets can be ordered at www.fusionfederalway.org. All proceeds from the fundraiser will be used to maintain FUSION’s 19 transitional housing units for homeless families, as well as provide clients their case management and needed services.

“The cost of maintaining our 19 homes and condos in Federal Way and Northeast Tacoma is great, and the need for housing indigent families in our community has never been greater,” said FUSION officials in a statement.
