The Federal Way school board recently approved the new model for collaborative time for teachers to meet that includes eight 90-minute student early release days.

The Federal Way school board recently approved the new model for collaborative time for teachers to meet that includes eight 90-minute student early release days, eliminating the four three-hour late starts previously scheduled.

This means all students will be released 90 minutes early on the following dates: Feb. 24, March 16, March 30, April 13, April 27, May 11, May 25 and June 1.
