Federal Way’s Brookdale Foundation House honors veterans

Brookdale Foundation House observed a solemn and moving Veteran’s Day ceremony on Wednesday.

Todd Beamer High School’s Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps color guard presented the flags for the Pledge of Allegiance. Rep. Linda Kochmar, Councilwoman Susan Honda and Mayor Jim Ferrell spoke. When the song of each service played, the veterans stood proudly at attention.
