Man found bleeding from mouth: At 2:10 a.m. on Aug. 9 in the 33600 block of Pacific Highway S., police saw a man standing on the corner of the road flailing his arms and yelling. The man then stood in the middle of the northbound lane. Police decided to do a welfare check on the man. When the officer told the man to talk to him, he replied “give me some f*** water!”

The man began to back away from the officer after he was told to get out of the street. The officer drew his Taser and the man ran from him. The officer told him not to run and he stopped, but began to walk towards the officer. It was then that the officer saw the man was bleeding. The man sat on the curb when ordered to and repeated that he wanted water. He then stated that he “raised the dead.” He was eventually detained and transported to St. Francis Medical Center.

Woman threatened by mysterious call: At 2:02 p.m. on Aug. 8 in the Christian Faith Center parking lot, officers responded to a distraught female. The female stated she received a call from an unknown Mexico number three times. During the call, a female voice said that she wanted her to go home to Burien because she wanted to kill her.

The voice told her to look around for two Hispanic males who had guns on them. The female never saw any guns, but said that she saw some males in the area. An officer conducted an area check and could not corroborate her story. The female said she doesn’t know anyone from Mexico. An officer followed her to Highway 18 where she headed home. She did say that she took medication for bi-polar and schizophrenia disorders.

Phone stolen from man at gunpoint: At 11:42 p.m. on Aug. 9 in the 35000 block of Enchanted Parkway S., an officer responded to a reported robbery. A 48-year-old man told police he was robbed in the parking lot of Olive Garden by a juvenile male he met for a phone transaction. The juvenile told the man that he needed him to pick him up from Jack in the Box because he was having car troubles and needed to meet his mom at Olive Garden. The man took him to Olive Garden and the juvenile walked towards the restaurant.

When he returned, he produced a handgun and pointed it at the man. He told him to factory reset his phone before giving it to him and also took $220. The man was then told to drive to the freeway entrance off Enchanted Parkway South and let him out. The juvenile was described as around 5-foot-6, 12-15 years old with a short afro. No suspects have been identified at the time of the report.

Man harasses couple: At 8:35 a.m. on Aug. 8 in the 31000 block of 28th Ave. S., police responded to a report of harassment. A woman stated that a white male in his 50s, 5-foot-7, thin build, with dark hair and wearing black rimmed glasses has been driving slowly by her home twice a week since December 2014.

She stated that the male slows down and honks while driving the length of her property. She said sometimes the male displays his middle finger to her or her husband and the male has cursed several times at her husband. They do not know the man and do not know why he does this. He has not been located or identified.

Woman hits man with car: At 2:52 p.m. on Aug. 8 in the 1600 block of S. 348th St., police arrested a woman for assaulting her ex-boyfriend. The two had an issue regarding a Chevy Tahoe they purchased while they were still dating. The man ended their five-year relationship in May and withheld the vehicle because she owed him money for insurance and loan payments.

The woman followed the man in another vehicle with her adult daughter. When he stopped at a red light, the woman entered his vehicle through the rear door. He got out of his vehicle to call 911 and she moved to the driver’s seat. As he stood in front of the car trying to block her from moving, she accelerated, sending him over the hood. He scraped his knee and elbow. The woman told police she didn’t remember hitting him when asked about it. She was transported to SCORE jail.

Daughter maces parents: At 5:25 a.m. on Aug. 7 in the 1300 block of S. 359th St., police responded to an altercation between a woman and her parents. The daughter sprayed her mother with mace to keep her phone from being take away. During the scuffle, the father was also sprayed. The father struck the daughter to stop the fight. The daughter was booked for assault.

Woman receives lewd photo: At 3:07 p.m. on Aug. 7 in the 36800 block of Fifth Ave. SW, a woman told police that she received a call from a number she did not know two days prior. She attempted to call the number back but was unable to reach them.

The next day, at about 8:30 p.m., the woman received a photo message on her cell phone from the same number that had called her the previous day. The photo was a picture of male genitals. The woman said she was not annoyed or harassed, but only wanted to advise police of the incident. A suspect was not located.

Patient assaults caregivers: At 3:55 p.m. on Aug. 9 in the 2100 block of SW 338th St., officers responded to a family care home for a report of a patient who physically assaulted a caregiver. Two victims reported the suspect punched and scratched them and hit them on in the head with a foot rest. The suspect was arrested and booked at SCORE jail.

Man tries to fight police at transit center: At 2:02 a.m. on Aug. 6 at the Federal Way Transit Center, police responded to a report of a male trying to fight people. The male assaulted a security guard. His friend was holding him back when officers arrived. When officers asked him who he was trying to fight he told them he wanted to fight them. An officer reached for his pepper spray and the male told him not to use it and “just f*** kill me” repeatedly.

Officers eventually detained the man. His friend and girlfriend stated they were “shocked” at the restraint the police showed when the male was yelling at them. The male was booked into SCORE jail.

Man abuses woman at soccer field: At 7:50 p.m. on Aug. 6 at Karl Grosch Field, police responded to a report of a physical dispute. A witness reported that a male hit a female and he left afterwards. Police found the female victim and observed several injuries from physical abuse. It was determined that the suspect was her ex-boyfriend whom she had a no-contact order against. The suspect was not located.

Woman kicks in door, takes TV: At 9:09 p.m. on Aug. 6 in the 1800 block of S. 308th Court, police responded to a report of a woman breaking into a home. The woman went to a man’s apartment that she used to share with him and kicked in the locked door.

She then took her TV that she was storing there. The woman has a no-contact order against him, however, he had court paperwork showing he was in possession of the apartment. He said he would not assist in her prosecution and police advised him to consider a no-contact order of his own. Police were unable to locate the woman.

Man robbed by acquaintance: At 6:30 p.m. on Aug. 5 in the 2600 block of S. 272nd St., police responded to a robbery report. The victim called and stated that a male he knows stole $1,600. As the suspect and an unidentified male driver fled the area in a black SUV, the driver displayed a handgun in the air. The victim stopped chasing the vehicle on foot and observed the car get onto northbound Interstate 5. The victim denied it was a “drug rip.” He said the money was for a 2000 Chevy Impala.

Thieves steal potted plants: At 9:52 p.m. on Aug. 5 in the 29400 block of 21st Place, police responded to a theft report. Unknown suspect(s) stole potted plants that a woman keeps on the stairwell leading to her apartment. There are no leads. The theft occurred while she was away from her apartment.

Business robbed for third time: At 5:41 a.m. on Aug. 4 in the 32600 block of Pacific Highway S., the garbage man for the location called 911 to report damage to a business’s front door glass. Upon arrival, an unknown suspect smashed out the front door glass and stole approximately $7,000 worth of automotive speakers. It was the third burglary of this location since May.

Child beaten with stick: At 12:30 p.m. on Aug. 4 at an unknown location, a man called to report the assault/child abuse of his 10-year-old son by the mother’s boyfriend. He stated that his son returned home the previous night from visiting his mother at her Federal Way home and was informed that the son was beaten/spanked with a bamboo stick, which left welts, redness and bruising upon the child’s buttocks and leg(s). He responded to police and submitted a written statement, photographs of injuries and other details related to the incident.

Lawnmower left on property: At 2:06 p.m. on Aug. 4 in the 28600 block of 16th Ave. S., a man found that someone dumped a lawn mower in his yard over the weekend. It did not belong to his neighbors. He did not want it and there was no way to determine if it was stolen. It was booked into evidence as found property.

Woman throws tantrum over cigar: At 8:55 p.m. on Aug. 4 in the 29600 block of Pacific Highway S., a man reported that a woman got mad when he refused to accept her $100 bill for payment for a $0.99 Swisher Sweet cigar. The suspect intentionally knocked over a rack of cookies and threw some at him.
