Senior Services seeks Meals on Wheels volunteers in King County

Senior Services is seeking volunteers the organization’s Meals on Wheels program throughout King County.
Volunteering with Meals on Wheels means you belong to a team that is committed to helping homebound seniors maintain their health and independence with nutritious food, personal contact and caring service.
Locations include Federal Way.
Positions available include volunteer site coordinators, delivery drivers, callers/office support and packers.

Senior Services’ Meals on Wheels offers frozen home-delivered meals for older persons who are unable to leave their home to shop or prepare nutritious meals. The meals are prepared with the special dietary needs of seniors in mind and are adaptable to a variety of special diets. In 2014, Meals on Wheels delivered nearly 420,000 meals to more than 2,200 older adults in King County.
Senior Services connects seniors to vital resources in their communities. We provide them with meals, drive them to essential services, ease their loneliness and alleviate caregiver stress.
