The Rhododendron Species Botanical Garden, Pacific Bonsai Museum and the Federal Way Arts Commission played host to hundreds of people for the third  annual Blue Poppy Day on Saturday.

Attendees celebrated and discovered the amazing world of blue poppies (Meconopsis), as well as enjoyed the sight of a meadow containing hundreds of glowing, blooming blue poppies.

As visitors made their way through the garden, they were treated to the sights and sounds of musical and artistic performances. Visual artists had their works on display.
