Heavyweight boxing: Federal Way’s Vincent Thompson fights June 19 in Battle at the Boat 77

Federal Way boxer Vincent Thompson will fight Saturday, June 19, at the Battle at the Boat 77 at the Emerald Queen Casino in Tacoma. Thompson (3-0) will face Montana’s Leo Bercier (8-12-1) in a heavyweight contest. Thompson last fought June 5 when he knocked out Rob Criswell in a bout in Renton.

Battle at the Boat 77 will mark the return of former “Contender” star Walter “2 guns” Wright (13-3, 7 KO’s). This fight will lead up to an explosive 10 round main event between Hector Serrano (12-0, 4 KO’s) and Angel Hernandez (14-5, 11 KO’s).
