Athlete of the Week:
Todd Beamer High School’s Billy Vann, football, was selected as the Federal Way Mirror Male Athlete of the Week for Oct. 19.
Q: What is your favorite subject/class in school?
A: Science.
Q: What other activities/hobbies do you participate in?
A: Training, hanging with friends and family.
Q: Person who has helped you succeed the most?
A: My dad.
Q: Do you have a pregame/competition ritual or postgame tradition, and what is it?
A: I don’t really have one, I just put my headphones in and don’t really talk.
Q: Song you currently can’t get enough of?
A: I like a lot of music.
From the sideline: Against Kennedy Catholic on Oct. 6, Billy has 333 all purpose yards, four touchdowns, 204 rushing, 47 yards receiving and 87 yards returning. Billy also helped lead the Titans to a victory over previously undefeated Enumclaw to claim a share of first place in the NPSL Mountain Division.
