The Todd Beamer Titans baseball team squeaked by Federal Way Monday, 3-2. The win kept the Titans (10-2 overall, 7-2 SPSL South) in second place in the South Puget Sound League South Division behind unbeaten Puyallup.

The Federal Way High School track and field teams won the prestigious Oregon Relays team title for the second year in a row Saturday at Hayward Field at the University of Oregon. The Eagles' boys and girls combined for 111.5 points to outdistance Eastlake High School (95). The meet included teams from Alaska, British Columbia, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon and Washington. Both Federal Way teams are the defending Class 4A state team champions.
Todd Beamer senior Scott Sunitsch was pretty-much unhittable Tuesday afternoon during a 3-1 win over the Emerald Ridge Jaguars.
The Decatur baseball team downed Lakes Thursday, 9-1. The Lancers took a 1-0 lead with a run in the top of the third inning. But the Gators (7-4 overall, 4-2 SPSL 3A) responded with four runs in the bottom of the inning, three in the fifth and two more in the sixth.
The Federal Way High School track and field programs made history last year. For the first time in the long and rich history of the programs, both the boys and girls proved to the best of the best in Washington.
