State-bound: boys swim & dive All-League honors, West Central District III results

Decatur boys swim head coach named Coach of the Year for NPSL Olympic Division.

Several Federal Way swimmers splashed onward to state after their performances last weekend at the West Central Districts III boys swim and dive meet, hosted at Curtis Aquatic Center.

Results:

200 Yard Medley Relay

Fourth place, 1:42.82 – TJHS junior Sean Park, senior Nicholas Kim, junior Brandon Truong, and freshman Alex Nguyen

100 Yard Butterfly

Eighth place, 55.08 – TJHS junior Brandon Truong

500 Yard Freestyle

Fourth place, 4:59.24 – Decatur freshman Jack Springer

100 Yard Backstroke

Second place, 54.85 – TJHS junior Sean Park

400 Yard Freestyle Relay

Seventh place, 3:26.82 – TJHS freshman Alex Nguyen, junior Sean Park, senior

Third place, score of 422.10 – Todd Beamer junior Nicholas Gunn
