AMBER CRATSENBERG

Jefferson

• Grade: Sophomore

• Sport: Girls swimming

• Accomplishment: The Raider sophomore is one of the best freestylers in the state and has been proving it all season long. Cratsenberg finished second in the 50-yard freestyle and fourth in the 100 at last year’s state championships.

• Favorite athlete?: Any Olympic swimmer like Michael Phelps, Ryan Lochte and Jason Lezak.

• What is on your IPOD?: Anything except for rap and classical music

• What is your favorite class?: English, because my teacher is super funny.

• Something a lot of people don’t know about you?: “I used to be a figure skater when I was little.”

AMANDA TOFAEONO

Christian Faith High School

• Grade: Sophomore

• Sport: Volleyball

• Accomplishment: The sophomore setter on the Christian Faith volleyball team put up 34 assists, four blocks, 23 digs and eight kills in a victory over Tacoma Baptist last week. Tofaeono has led her team to first place in the Seatac B League with a record of 5-1 in league and 7-2 overall. Volleyball is the only fall sport offered at Federal Way’s Christian Faith High School. The team plays their home matches at the EX3 Teen Center on the campus of Truman High school on Tuesday nights.
