Decatur High School junior Miguel Galmichi, soccer, is the Federal Way Mirror Male Athlete of the Week for April 14.

Q: What is your favorite subject/class in school?

A: Sports medicine.

Q: What hobbies do you enjoy outside of your sport?

A: Running and watching TV.

Q: Who is the person in your life that has helped you succeed the most?

A: My parents.

Q: If you could have dinner with anyone (living or from the past), who would it be? Why?

A: Pele, because he gave good advice on how you can improve yourself as a soccer player.

Q: Describe your pre-game ritual:

A: I eat something, drink water, and always warm up.

Q: Song you currently can’t stop listening to?

A: Mexican music.

From the sidelines: DHS junior Miguel Galmichi has been a leader for the start of the boys soccer season. His efforts to solidify the defense and his ability to take advantage of offensive opportunities have been instrumental in team highlights. Miguel has scored three goals and assisted on three others in recent matches. Miguel will earn his third varsity letter award this season in boys soccer.
