Todd Beamer High School’s Blake Stafford, track and field, was selected as the Federal Way Mirror Male Athlete of the Week for May 17.

Q: What is your favorite subject/class in school?

A: My favorite subject is math.

Q: What other activities/hobbies do you enjoy?

A: I also play football and basketball. I also am a student leader at Young Life.

Q: Person who has helped you succeed the most?

A: My mom has pushed me to have good grades.

Q: Do you have a pre­game/competition ritual or post­game tradition, and what is it?

A: I always put my headphones on and don’t talk much.

Q: Song you currently can’t get enough of?

A: “Prayin’ for You” by Lecrae.

From the sideline: Todd Beamer junior Blake Stafford is a team leader with his great enthusiasm and attitude. Blake leads the Titans in pole vault and high jump. He’s also a member of the 4X100 relay. Blake maintains a 3.75 GPA.
