Todd Beamer High School senior Chris Gunn, diving, was selected as the Federal Way Mirror Male Athlete of the Week for March 6.

Q: What is your favorite subject/class in school?

A: Math.

Q: What other activities/hobbies do you enjoy?

A: Photography.

Q: Person who has helped you succeed the most?

A: Coach Kelly.

Q: The best advice I’ve ever been given by a coach is:

A: “Don’t be afraid to get better.”

Q: Describe your pre-meet ritual and your favorite post-meet meal?

A: Pre – listen to music. Post – pizza.

Q: Song you currently can’t stop listening to?

A: “Bang!” By AJR.

From the sideline: Todd Beamer senior Chris Gunn has been an outstanding team member for swim and dive during his career at Todd Beamer. Chris is a state competitor and placed fourth at this year’s WIAA 4A State Dive Meet on Feb. 22. His hard work, dedication and team-first attitude has been greatly appreciated. He is a great representative of Todd Beamer and the Federal Way community.
