Federal Way High School senior Jaden Call, wrestling, was selected as the Federal Way Mirror Male Athlete of the Week for Feb. 21.

Q: What is your favorite subject/class in school?

A: Science.

Q: What other activities/hobbies do you enjoy?

A: Basketball, hanging out with friends, spending time with family, training.

Q: Person who has helped you succeed the most?

A: Mom – Dena Call.

Q: The best advice I’ve ever been given by a coach is:

A: “Never give up, and don’t listen to other people’s opinions.”

Q: Describe your pre-match ritual and your favorite post-match meal?

A: Pre – listen to music, go over film; post – mom’s tacos.

Q: Song you currently can’t stop listening to?

A: “Dreams and Nightmares” by Meek Mill.

From the sideline: Federal Way High School senior Jaden Call has been a great asset to the success of FWHS in the playoffs. His hard work on the court on both ends has ignited the team. Jaden’s play on the court as the point guard is very valuable to the team, and the coaches have seen his confidence continue to grow. The coaching staff and team are proud of Jaden’s effort. The Federal Way Eagles will play Central Valley this week in regionals to qualify for the state basketball tournament.
