Federal Way Mirror Male Athlete of the Week for Dec. 17: Lincoln Jagger

Decatur senior’s work ethic and positive attitude make him a “go-to” player for his teammates on the basketball team.

Decatur High School senior Lincoln Jagger, basketball, was selected as the Federal Way Mirror Male Athlete of the Week for Dec. 17.

Q: What is your favorite subject/class in school?

A: Video production.

Q: What additional activities/hobbies do you enjoy?

A: Skateboarding, mountain biking and rock climbing.

Q: Person who has helped you succeed the most?

A: Coach Forbes.

Q: What is the best advice you’ve been given when it comes to your sport?

A: “To succeed, you have to be willing to be uncomfortable.”

Q: Describe your pre-game ritual and your favorite post-game meal?

A: For my pre-game ritual, I listen to music and just focus on the game. My favorite post-game meal is cereal.

From the sidelines: Decatur senior Lincoln Jagger will earn his second varsity letter in boys basketball this season. He has been a leader on and off the court. Lincoln’s consistent hard working and positive attitude make him a “go-to” player for his teammates. He has been a solidifying force of Decatur’s defense and opportunistic with scoring at key times on offense. Lincoln has also been a four-year participant on the Decatur High School boys cross country team. He has earned a 3.958 Cumulative Grade Point Average in a rigorous college prep schedule including seven Advanced Placement courses. Lincoln is currently ranked 26 out of 322 in his graduating class. He has been an exemplar scholar-athlete contributing to the positive culture at Decatur High School.
