Federal Way Female Athlete of the Week: Abigail Collier

Collier ranks sixth all time in Federal Way XC history.

The Mirror’s female athlete of the week for Oct. 20 is sophomore Abigail Collier of Federal Way High School, Cross Country.

A: Math

A: Running, Choir/Sing, Tenor Sax, Draw

Q: You’re on a long road trip, you stop at a gas station. You get one drink and one snack. What are you choosing?

A: Arizona Sweet Tea (largest size) and family size of berry skittles

Q: Describe your pre-game ritual and your favorite post-game meal.

A: Pre-wear blue eye-liner on race day and eat a large meal of fettucine alfredo

From the Sidelines: Abigail Collier has been constantly improving throughout the season and has established herself as one of the top NPSL runners. Abigail competed at the Nike Hole in the Wall Invitational completing the 5K course in 19:57. This time ranks her 6th overall in FWHS Cross Country History. Abigail continued her success on Wednesday by becoming the girls All City Champion – a feat that hasn’t been accomplished by a FW Girl since 2010. The team is proud of Abigail’s accomplishments thus far and is looking forward to her leadership as we move on to the post season!
