Q: Mr. Federal Way, what are your thoughts on the real vs. fake Christmas tree argument?
One of the most fun things I do is teach for Great Conversations. Several times a year, I gather with girls ages 10-12 and adult, often moms, to talk about puberty in a class called For Girls Only.
Last month, I walked into a modest home in a Federal Way neighborhood next to Decatur High School and was amazed by what was happening inside.
I am pleased to learn that Federal Way’s economic development department has been busy trying to fill some of the vacant commercial space around town with new business tenants.
Again our mayor has not stepped up to protect the residents of Federal Way, I refer specifically to the meeting he attended with the Port of Seattle and Federal Aviation Administration.
The world has been in a state of outrage in the wake of the terrorist attacks on Paris. Sadly, but predictably, that has been followed by an unrealistic fear to close our borders by use of the paper fences of admission restrictions on refugees from war-torn geographies such as Syria.
As a Federal Way resident, I was alarmed and upset to learn that Valley Cities’ Woodmont Recovery Center has been forced to relocate to a location that does not fully meet its needs.
Thank you very much for the delivery of the recent edition of the Mirror. It has been years since the car made the loop around our block. I also noted that papers were in the area behind Alderbrook Park. Seriously, thanks. I appreciate the paper.
