Robert G. Wetli, 89, and Virginia M. Wetli, 87, passed away days apart on March 7th and 13th, respectively in Des Moines, WA. Married for 64 years, they shared a life full of family, shared faith and quiet devotion. Robert was born April 1,1935 in Toledo, Ohio to Alfred & Amelia Wetli and earned an electrical engineering degree from the University of Toledo. He built a long and fulfilling career at Boeing in Seattle, WA. Virginia was born September 28, 1937, in Toledo, Ohio to J. Walter and Kathryn Ardner and earned her teaching degree at Mary Manse college. She was a devoted teacher and principal at St. Vincent de Paul school. They were loving parents, grandparents and friends to many.

They are survived by their children; Bradley (Kaye), Becky (Lori) and David; grandchildren Jennifer (Ken) Sutton, Daniel and Emily; and a great grandchild. Robert was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her sister, Judy Johnson in Toledo, Ohio.

A memorial mass will be held at 11:00 am Friday, June 20, 2025 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic church in Federal Way, WA where they were long time parishioners. Reception to follow.
