Lois K. Cox of Auburn West Hill died March 19 in Federal Way. She was 71.
Born Nov. 13, 1931 in Athens, Ohio, she was a 31-year resident of the Federal Way-Auburn area. She retired as a retail sales clerk from the Frederick & Nelson store at Tacoma Mall and was a member of Marine View Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include her sons, Greg Cox of Auburn and Jeff Cox of Grants Pass, Ore.; a brother, Paul Kail of South Carolina; a sister, Margaret Frost of Houston, Texas; and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack, on Jan. 5, 1988.
A graveside service was held March 24 at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, Ore. Arrangements are by Yahn & Son Funeral Home in Auburn.
