Dorothy Marie Matchett died 11-25-2013 at the age of 91. She was born in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada to Beatrice and Cecil Gwinn. Dorothy married Robert A. Jorgeson in 1943 in Vancouver, BC. They had six children. Dorothy loved interior design, so went back to college after her husband died in 1963 and earned a degree in design.

In 1968, Dorothy married James H. (Harry) Matchett, and they were married for 44 years. Harry brought 3 children to the marriage. He passed away last March. Dorothy and Harry loved to travel and visited many countries In Europe, as well as Canada and Mexico. They both enjoyed many trips to Hawaii, and had summer homes on Orcas Island and at Mason Lake.

Dorothy was very proud of her children, especially with having 4 in the military at one time.

Surviving children are Lynn Jorgeson, Mike Jorgeson (Carma), Roberta Jorgeson-Wilson (Tim), and Tim Jorgeson (Maryann). Her stepchildren are Diane Davis, Kay Dorris (Steve), and Rob Matchett (Sally). There are two deceased sons, Douglas Jorgeson (Brigitte), and William Jorgeson (Kelly). Dorothy had 15 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.

She was the best Mom ever and will be missed

and remembered by many.
