Betsy recently passed away peacefully from health complications. She was raised by parents Paul and Nellie Reddick, along with her sister Eva, and brother Paul Jr.
Until the age of 13, the family lived in the Maryland and Pennsylvania area. In 1945, they moved to the Bremerton, WA area to support the war effort. Betsy graduated from Bremerton HS, where she was active in student government, drama club, and choir. After graduation Betsy moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for a banking job. She volunteered at USO type social clubs for GI’s on leave. It was here she met her future husband, Charlie. They wed after a year long courtship and moved to Bremerton to be close to her family.
Betsy and Charlie raised three boys while living in Federal Way, WA. In preparation for retirement, they moved to the Covington area, where they lived nearly 40 years. Betsy returned to the Federal Way area upon Charlie’s untimely passing from Parkinson’s disease.
Betsy was a prolific gardener of vegetables and blooms. She was a 35 year member of a women’s bowling league, and enjoyed crafting, crochet, and collectibles. Betsy is survived by her sons Dale (Terri), Gary, Brian (Kathy), granddaughters April (Josh), Kelsey (Jimmy), Allison, great grandsons Kane, Deltan, Hayes, and great granddaughter Kylie.
