Metropolitan King County Councilmember Pete von Reichbauer’s annual town hall on property taxes at Federal Way’s City Hall, co-hosted by King County Assessor John Wilson, was well-attended, said King County officials.

Among the issues of discussed, according to a release, was property tax affordability for seniors and those families recovering from the challenging economy. Many seniors were concerned about being taxed out of their houses. There was also concern about upcoming assessments, including proposed taxes for Sound Transit 3.
