Todd Beamer High School senior Austin Jex won the Class 4A boy’s cross country race Saturday afternoon, receiving the district title.
Jex’s time was 16 minutes, 4.75 seconds and he also hit the finish more than seven seconds ahead of a tight five-runner pack vying for second.
This qualifies Jex for the state meet on Nov. 8.
