Hospitable women steal car: At 12:20 a.m. on May 30 in the 29600 block of Pacific Highway South, a man said he met two unknown females at Green River Community College who offered to “show him around” because he was new to the area. The victim allowed one of the females to drive his vehicle while he sat in the back seat. The victim said the group stopped at a gas station in Federal Way and he went to buy a drink. When he returned, his vehicle and the women were gone. He told police the woman who was driving his car was mixed-race Japanese, tall, skinny and wearing a dark beanie with a grey tank top and gray sweats.

Man threatens, punches people at pool: At 3:59 p.m. on May 30 in the 2200 block of South Star Lake Road, a victim called 911 to report he had been swimming when a man ran into the pool area and began punching people, accusing them of touching his daughter. The suspect also allegedly threatened to get a gun and shoot everyone. The victim said he was hit by the man but not injured and that he planned to speak to management. The suspect was gone when officers arrived; his identity is unknown.

Police find spent cartridges: At 8:34 p.m. on May 30 in the 34000 block of 18th Place South, police located 11 spent 9mm cartridges. A woman called to report them after she heard gunshots the night before. Police were unable to find a suspect.

Refreshments stolen: At 12:47 p.m. on May 31 in the 600 block of 302nd Street, an unknown person with a ladder climbed over a fence into Marine Hills Pool property and took less than $100 worth of soda, bottled water and craft supplies without permission from the top deck area.

Student at school threatens with knife: At 9:25 a.m. on June 1 in the 36000 block of 1st Avenue South, a student brought a pocket knife to school and showed another student. He then threatened the other student with death if he told anyone about it. The other student told school administration and school security recovered the knife. The student who brought the knife to school was “emergency expelled.”

Homeless guest steals wallet, ID: At 9:56 a.m. on June 2 in the 31000 block of 14th Avenue South, a man told police he let an unknown homeless woman stay the night in his condo, but when he awoke the woman was gone and his wallet, containing $436, was gone as well. The wallet had also contained his Social Security card and food stamp cards. Police closed the case having “exhausted” all leads.

TV smashed, boyfriend threatened: At 1:16 p.m. on June 2 in the 100 block of South 339th Circle, a woman was arrested for smashing the family TV with a hammer and threatening her boyfriend against taking any more items. The woman and her boyfriend had got into an argument about ending their relationship and the man began to gather his belongings. The argument occurred in front of the 3-year-old twins they have together.

Threat scrawled on school bathroom stall: At 4:37 p.m. on June 3 at 35101 5th Ave. Southwest, a security officer reported that the principal of Enterprise Elementary had informed him of a disturbing message in the girl’s bathroom. The message written on the wall read, “I’m going to bring a gun to school.” The message was written in pencil and was very faint. School officials do not know who wrote the message or when it was written but wanted the incident documented.

Men with guns menace apartment, maybe: At 2:32 p.m. on June 4 in the 32100 block of 18th Avenue Southwest, a woman called police to report there were people outside with guns attempting to enter her apartment. She said her brother did not want her talking to police and told her not to say anything. When officers arrived, they ordered out all of the apartment occupants and detained them. The occupants said no crime had occurred and that the people with guns never came to the door. Everyone refused to provide a written statement, and one person was arrested because police discovered he had a $20,000 Federal Way warrant for resisting arrest.

Man pushes pregnant girlfriend, flees: At 5:53 p.m. on June 4 in the 27800 block of Pacific Highway South, a man was cited for pushing his girlfriend, who is four months pregnant, to the ground. The two were arguing about money when the situation escalated and the boyfriend threatened to shoot his girlfriend. The woman was transported to St. Francis Hospital as a precaution. The suspect fled prior to police arrival.

Shots fired near residence: At 6:35 a.m. on June 5 in the 2400 block of Southwest 333rd Street, a resident told police she heard three gunshots from outside and a round had struck her house. While she was on the phone with 911, the woman heard another gun shot fired at her house. She could not see a person or a vehicle outside but said she heard a vehicle leave after the shooting. No one was injured. After police arrived, they found one casing outside the woman’s residence and retrieved a “bullet slug” from inside the house.

Child picked up from homeless camp: At 1:22 p.m. on June 5 in the 31100 block of Pacific Highway South, police were dispatched to Jack in the Box. A witness told officers that a male acquaintance dropped off a child at a residence and left the child there. The acquaintance said he had picked up the child from a homeless camp in the city because the mother had left her child with strangers. Police could not contact the mother of the child and the father is unknown.

Daughter on drugs escapes father: At 1:16 p.m. on June 5 in the 2400 block of South Star Lake Road, police were dispatched to a potential kidnapping in progress. Police located the suspects, two men in a silver truck, but the female who was with them had run off. One of the men told police that the female was his daughter and was “strung out on drugs,” and that he was trying to help her. Police could not find the female, who has warrants for her arrest, and advised her father to call 911 if he does.
