Thieves steal 7,000 Wii consoles from Sea-Tac warehouse

The King County Sheriff's Office (KSCO) is asking the public to help locate two semi-trucks and a van that are believed to have been part of a theft of 7,000 Nintendo Wii gaming consoles.

The King County Sheriff’s Office (KSCO) is asking the public to help locate two semi-trucks and a van that are believed to have been part of a theft of 7,000 Nintendo Wii gaming consoles.

According to KCSO, the theft occurred at Seattle Air Cargo in the 19100 block of Des Moines Memorial Drive, sometime between Saturday evening and noon Sunday.

The thieves gained entry to the site and proceeded to load up the vehicles using forklifts on site. The trailers are two 53-foot trailers that are white in color, with the name “McKinney” on the side. The box van that was stolen is a large International van with “Seattle Air Cargo” written on the doors only.

The license plate numbers are as follows:

• Trailer 1: CA license plate 4HB3365 with trailer number 533457

• Trailer 2: CA license plate 4EA5521 with trailer number 531841

• Box Van: WA license plate B40622K

KCSO estimates the total value of the goods stolen is over $2 million. Anyone with any leads are urged to contact KCSO at (206) 296-3311.
