Following is a sample from the Federal Way police log:

• Warrants mix up: At 10:45 p.m. Sept. 30 in the 27200 block of 16th Avenue South, a suspect was pulled over for speeding. He had an active warrant and signed paperwork promising to appear in court. The suspect was released. The record department later informed police that the suspect had a second Federal Way warrant that was mistakenly removed from the system.

• Unfit conditions: At 7:37 p.m. in the 2900 block of South 284th Street, fire crews responded to a home where a man was suffering a diabetic episode. They noted the living conditions were unfit and requested police to respond.

• Out of state warrant: At 12:09 p.m. Oct. 1 in the 100 block of Southwest Campus Drive, police responded to a domestic dispute. Records showed the suspect had an active warrant out of Idaho. He was arrested.

• Domestic violence: At 7:28 a.m. Oct. 1 in the 28200 block of 19th Place South, police responded to a physical domestic violence incident. The suspect was gone when police arrived and the victim was uncooperative, lying about her relationship with the suspect.

• Rammed vehicle: At 3:59 a.m. Oct. 1 near South 293rd Street and 18th Avenue South, a suspect met with a victim, despite a no contact order, at a tavern. The suspect made suicidal remarks and the victim followed the suspect out of concern when she left the tavern. The suspect then rammed her vehicle into the victim’s.

• Broken windows: At 5:36 Sept. 30 in the 30800 block of 21st Avenue Southwest, two victims reported parking their vehicles overnight. When they returned, the driver side windows were broken on both vehicles. Nothing was taken from inside.

• Home burglary: At 4:18 p.m. Sept. 30 in the 1800 block of South 310th Street, an unknown suspect forced open a victim’s door and took property without permission.
