Stay connected during emergency situations

Residents are asked to register their phone numbers with the City so that they may be contacted in an emergency or natural disaster.

The City’s CodeRED system utilizes a database of phone numbers and provides emergency information via a prerecorded message to those numbers. The message may provide resources to learn more about the emergency or instructions for how to handle the situation.

Residents may register their home, cell, unlisted, business, or changed home phone numbers in the database. The numbers will not be sold and will only be used to notify participants in emergency situations.

To learn more about CodeRED or to register one’s phone number call Emergency Management Coordinator Ray Gross at (253) 835-2712.
