In preparation for upcoming Link light rail service at the Federal Way Transit Center Sound Transit, crews will be conducting a long-term closure of southbound 23rd Avenue South, starting Feb. 24.
For about eight to 10 months, 23rd Avenue South will be one-direction, northbound only between South 320th Street and South 317th Street. Marked detour routes are available around southbound 23rd Ave. S. The closure will be in place 24/7.
Northbound 23rd Avenue South will remain open unless otherwise marked, according to Sound Transit.
