Western Washington University student Rachel Chapman, daughter of Michael and Deena Chapman of Federal Way, received a $1,000 Sene and Louella Carlise Theatre Arts Scholarship for the 2010-2011 academic year. The Sene and Louella Carlise Theatre Arts Scholarship is awarded annually to an outstanding upper-division student majoring in theatre arts. Chapman, a senior at WWU, has earned a 3.74 GPA. She is planning to graduate in spring 2011 with a degree in Theatre Education. Chapman volunteered with the Multicultural Outreach Tour and her professional goals include becoming a performing arts instructor at a university while also being involved in community theatres.
