There were two vehicle thefts reported, and two vehicles were recovered on this day.
Burglary: At 5:06 a.m. on Southwest 320th Street, there was a report that officers responded to a burglary in progress. Upon arrival, the suspects were gone. Statements were taken from witnesses.
Makeshift shelters: At 2:43 p.m. on 13th Avenue Southwest, there was a report of multiple suspicious persons within makeshift shelters and trash strewn about, deep within a wooded area. Suspicious person contacted, advised of local outreach information, warned for trespassing, agreed to pack their belongings and then vacated the area.
Makeshift shelter: At noon on South 333rd Street, there was a report that a large amount of trash was on the ground, and a makeshift shelter was located. No people found.
Oct. 15
There was one vehicle theft reported, and one vehicle was recovered on this day.
Running naked in the street: At 1:30 a.m. on South 320th Street, there was a report that a person was observed fully naked running in the roadway, causing a disturbance.
Car crashed after robbery: At 4:58 a.m. in the 31000 block of Pacific Highway South, there was a report of a carjacking at a Chevron gas station. Upon arrival, officers developed probable cause for first-degree robbery. The suspect fled in a stolen vehicle, and a pursuit was initiated. The suspect eventually crashed the vehicle and was taken to Harborview Medical Center to be evaluated for serious injuries.
Firearm stolen: At 8:14 a.m. in the 2500 block of South Gateway Center Place, there was a report that a firearm was stolen from a vehicle. The reporting party said that he parked his car, and then when he returned 45 minutes later, his gun was missing from underneath the driver’s seat. The firearm was loaded with four .38 caliber bullets and was secured by a cable.
Prostitution report: At 2:41 p.m. in the 1200 block of South 324th Street, there was a report of promoting prostitution.
Oct. 16
There were zero vehicle thefts reported, and zero vehicles were recovered on this day.
Gun pulled because of dog: At 5:52 p.m. in the 34000 block of 27th Avenue Southwest, there was a report that the reporting party said his dog defecated during a walk, and his neighbor became irate. The reporting party stated that the neighbor pulled a gun out and threatened to shoot the dog. The reporting party said that she collected the feces, apologized and then left. She did not want to prosecute, but just report the incident.

There was one vehicle theft reported, and one vehicle was recovered on this day.
Gun brandished after crash: At 6:35 p.m. in the 28000 block of Military Road South, there was a report that officers were dispatched to a two-car collision with one of the involved parties brandishing a firearm. Officers flooded the area, but were unable to locate any vehicles or victims. This concludes the investigation.
Kill list by student: At 9:10 a.m. in the 1100 block of South Dash Point Road, there was a report that the reporting party showed officers a “kill list” made by a student who is now suspended. An officer contacted the child’s mother, who reported that the child had mental health issues and did not understand the seriousness of his actions. She reported that he does not have access to weapons and does not feel that the threat is credible.
Car hits pole: At 1:40 p.m. on 324th Street and Pacific Highway South, there was a report that officers observed a downed crosswalk pole. Officers located the involved vehicle. The driver was found to be under the influence of alcohol. The driver was placed under arrest for driving under the influence.
Man exposing himself: At 6:03 p.m. in the 1300 block of South 324th Street, there was a report that a man was exposing himself in front of a business. Officers spoke with the reporting party and developed probable cause for indecent exposure. The man also had an active trespass at the business. The man was arrested and booked for indecent exposure and second-degree trespassing.
Oct. 18
There were zero vehicle thefts reported, and two vehicles were recovered on this day.
Asleep at the wheel: At 5:42 a.m. in the 2700 block of South 304th Street, there was a report that officers were performing routine patrols when they observed a vehicle stopped in the lane of travel. Upon closer contact with the driver, officers observed the driver asleep at the wheel with the car in drive. Probable cause was established for driving under the influence, and the driver was taken into custody.
Robbery: At 3:19 p.m. in the 34000 block of Hoyt Road Southwest, there was a report of a robbery where two suspects fled. No injuries.
23 pairs of jeans stolen: At 5:28 p.m. at Old Navy, there was a report that a man walked into Old Navy and stole 23 pairs of jeans. The car the suspect was in was later found with the suspect inside, and the jeans were also located. The jeans were returned to Old Navy.
Hit-and-run: At 6 p.m. at South 288th Street and 18th Avenue South, there was a report of a hit-and-run where a gun was brandished. A vehicle matching the suspect vehicle’s description was located, and a stop was initiated. However, no firearm was found during the stop.
Paper thrown on bus: At 6:38 p.m. in the 31000 block of 23rd Avenue South, there was a report that a passenger on a bus had a piece of paper thrown at him, and the person who threw it at him said he would “kick his ass.” The piece of paper was found to be no larger than a pellet, and the two involved were not located.
Gun brandished: At 6:59 p.m. in the 35000 block of Enchanted Parkway South, there was a report that a victim advised that a male suspect had pointed a gun at him after a minor collision at the listed address.

Report of person with a gun: At 5:55 p.m. on 18th Avenue South, there was a report from someone who said they were threatened with a gun. However, officers arrived on scene and did not observe any of the reported information.
Oct. 20
There was one vehicle theft reported, and one vehicle was recovered on this day.
High schooler’s concerning posts: At 4:51 a.m., at a Federal Way high school, a teacher advised officers that a student told him that a friend was making suicidal posts on TikTok. The officer spoke with the mother, who said that her daughter was getting ready to go to school, and the girl said that she did not have any plans to harm herself.
Apparel theft at hotel: At 7:26 a.m. on Pete von Reichbauer Way South, a report was made that apparel was stolen from a hotel room.
Possible jewelry: At about 8:16 a.m. on Southwest Dash Point Road, the reporting party stated that he had $200 worth of gold necklaces in his laundry when someone dropped them off for him to be cleaned, but it was missing when he went to pick up his clothes. The reporting party said that he believed that employees stole the necklaces based on their body language. The man then said he didn’t remember if he lost them before or after his clothes were dropped off. Staff allowed the man to check inside the establishment for his necklaces, but he did not find them.
Possible payment for sex acts: At 12:50 p.m. on South 324th Street, via flag-down, the reporting party reported picking up the involved male and parking in a vacant lot. The reporting party then hinted at wanting to engage in sexual acts, but then the involved demanded money, took money from the reporting party and took the reporting party’s phone. No sexual acts occurred, and the items were returned, but the reporting party stated that the involved person displayed a knife when the reporting party attempted to retrieve their phone.
