Decatur Gators to raise funds for football: The Decatur Gator football team will host a spaghetti feed and silent auction from 6 to 8 p.m. March 20 at Decatur High School, 2800 S.W. 320th St. Speakers will include NBA Draft Analyst Rob Rang, former University of Washington receiver Robert Gaines and Sports Broadcaster Cedric Brim. Public Academy fundraiser: Federal Way Public Academy will host their annual dinner and auction from 5 to 9 p.m. March 13 at Public Academy, 34620 9th Ave. S. Tickets cost $25 per person and will feature a gourmet buffet dinner catered by Spice of Life Catering. The dinner auction is FWPA’s only fundraiser of the year. TJ GearUp students to help Haiti: Thomas Jefferson High School GearUp students will host a fundraiser to benefit victims in Haiti from 6 to 8 p.m. March 12 in the cafeteria at Thomas Jefferson, 4248 S. 288th St. in Auburn. Tickets are $7, which includes a teriyaki dinner and student performances. GearUp is a state-funded program to build college readiness. Illahee event to raise funds for technology: Illahee Middle School PTSA will host their second annual Dessert and Auction fundraiser from 6 to 9 p.m. March 12 in the Illahee cafeteria, 36001 1st Ave. S. Proceeds from the event will fund classroom technology. Last year’s auction raised more than $12,000 and provided half of the classrooms with technology carts. This year’s goal is to raise enough to put technology carts in all the remaining classrooms. Call (253) 945-4600.
