Road rage leads to two-vehicle collision | Federal Way crime blotter

Following is a sample from the Federal Way police log:

• Road rage collision: At 1:41 p.m. Oct. 8 at 32800 Pacific Highway S., two subjects engaged in a road rage incident. The passenger in one vehicle threw a steering wheel lock, breaking the other vehicle’s windshield. Both vehicles collided causing moderate damage to each.

• Order violation: At 4:42 a.m. Oct. 8 in the 31500 block of 1st Ave. S., police were called to the scene of an order violation in progress. The suspect entered the apartment of two victims and verbally and physically abused them. The suspect was arrested.

• Suspicious suspects: At 10:35 a.m. Oct. 8 at 32000 Pacific Ave. S., three subjects were seen acting suspiciously near Chase Bank on Safe City cameras. Two subjects were arrested on warrants. The third was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Arson: At 3:16 p.m. Oct. 8 in the 2400 block of South Star Lake Road, a complainant reported two small fires in close proximity. One was set in a trash can. They caused damage to a victim’s property. A witness observed a suspect fleeing the area, but the suspect was not located.

• Attempted burglary: At 6:44 p.m. Oct. 8 in the 300 block of South 309th Place, a suspect used rocks to break a living room window. The suspect then gained entry into the residence but fled when the alarm sounded.

• Destroyed landscaping: At 10:01 p.m. Oct. 8 in the 2200 block of Southwest 349th Place, a victim reported an unknown person caused approximately $50 in damage to landscaping. The victim suspected her son and his wife of causing the damage.

• Stolen vehicle: On Oct. 9 in the 30800 block of 4th Place South, a 1996 Honda was stolen from its owner’s driveway.

• Alarming circumstance: At 12:32 p.m. Oct. 9 at 2131 S.W. 336th St., a victim ran into a Rite Aid store saying he was being chased by a person with a gun. A second man then entered the store with an object under his shirt. The second man yelled “Don’t call the police!” The victim exited out the back of the store and the suspect left through the front door.

• Bandits take copper wire: At 2:39 p.m. Oct. 9 at 34200 12th Ave. S.W., a city employee discovered copper wire stolen from county operated street lights. The value of the wire is $300.

• Residential burglary: At 4:29 p.m. Oct. 9 in the 30100 block of 10th Ave. S., an unknown suspect kicked open a door, ransacked a residence and stole several items valued at more than $1,000. A shoe print left on the door matches the pattern of shoe prints in other burglaries.

• Beer snatcher: At 8:16 p.m. Oct. 9 in the 2500 block of South 320th Street, a suspect entered a store three different times and took cases of beer without paying. On the third occasion the suspect was located in a nearby church parking lot and was arrested.
