Rifle-wielding man: ‘Tell them I’m crazy’ | Federal Way crime blotter

Following is a sample from the Federal Way police log:

• Crazy man: At 6:48 a.m. Oct. 16 at 31855 Pacific Highway S., witnesses reported a man waving a rifle and yelling “Call the police. Tell them I’m crazy.” The man was a convicted felon and was placed in jail.

• Stolen identity: At 6:05 p.m. Oct. 8 in the 1100 block of Southwest 320th Street, a victim reported that during an application process she discovered an unknown suspect was using her Social Security number.

• Car damage: At 11:11 a.m. Oct. 15 in the 33300 block of 11th Avenue Southwest, it was reported that a rock was thrown through a vehicle’s rear window, shattering the glass and causing $250 in damage.

• Trespass: At 4:47 p.m. Oct. 16 in the 34800 block of Pacific Highway South, officers responded to a business where a suspect refused to leave. The man had a warrant for his arrest and was intoxicated.

• Stolen check: At 10:20 a.m. Oct. 16 in the 32000 block of Pacific Highway South, police responded to a scene where a suspect was attempting to cash a stolen check. Police found a large quantity of methamphetamine on the suspect.

• Shooting report: At 1:57 a.m. Oct. 16 in the 2100 block of Southwest 356th Street, several witnesses reported a person was shot in the head by an unknown suspect. The victim was taken to Harborview Medical Center.

• Vehicle break-in: At 11:12 a.m. Oct. 17 in the 31500 block of 1st Avenue South, a suspect broke a rear window and stole items from inside a vehicle. A Louis Vuitton wallet, laptop computer and personal accessories manufactured by Chanel and Gucci were taken.
