Red Robin Gourmet Burgers opens to public Nov. 15

The new location is at 31920 Gateway Center Blvd S. in Federal Way.

Attention all burger buffs and Freckled Lemonade fans: Red Robin Gourmet Burgers has returned to Federal Way.

The grand opening of the new Red Robin Gourmet Burgers in Federal Way is Monday, Nov. 15.

The new location is at 31920 Gateway Center Blvd S. in Federal Way, which previously housed the RAM Restaurant and Brewery.

“Red Robin is thrilled to come back to the Federal Way area. The brand has deep roots in Washington, with it being the site of our first ever restaurant in 1969,” said Jonathan Muhtar, Red Robin executive vice president and chief concept officer. “More than 50 years later, we are humbled to have the opportunity to expand our restaurants within the great state of Washington.”

Red Robin Gourmet Burgers closed its previous restaurant in July 2020 as the former S. 320th Street location sat directly in the path of the incoming Sound Transit light rail route to Tacoma. The previous location opened in 1987.

About one-third of the previous location’s staff members have returned to the new restaurant to complete the team of over 80 employees in Federal Way.

Red Robin is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday though Thursday and from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
