Reckless rider gets a whoopin’

• At 11:31 a.m. Sept. 27 in the 30800 block of 2nd Avenue South, a suspect was riding his motorcycle recklessly, when another suspect confronted the man and assaulted him for the reckless driving. Both suspects were cited.

• At 11:46 p.m. Sept. 27 in the 1700 block of South 282nd Place, police were contacted about a domestic violence situation. A woman and her boyfriend were arguing about the boyfriend purchasing beer instead of milk for their children.

• At 1:16 a.m. Sept. 27 in the 2100 block of South 336th Street, officers responded to a domestic violence call. A suspect reportedly hit a victim in the head with a baton, causing permanent damage to the victim’s ear. The suspect also pistol whipped the victim and fired a bullet in close proximity to the victim’s head.

• At 8:51 a.m. Sept. 27 at 31500 1st Avenue South, an unknown suspect broke into a vehicle and stole an electronic window and door panel. Nothing else was taken.

• At 3:40 a.m. Sept. 26 at 34500 Pacific Highway S., a person was stopped in the parking lot for attempting to solicit sex. The woman had three warrants.

• At 4:02 p.m. Sept. 26 in the 100 block of Southwest 332nd Place, a victim reported three stolen checks. One was used to pay for a delinquent storage fee. Two others were made out to an unknown suspect and cashed.

• At 7:59 p.m. Sept. 26 in the 100 block of Southwest Campus Drive, a male suspect attempted to suffocate a female victim by hand eight times. The suspect assaulted the victim and told her he would kill her.

• At 2:16 p.m. Sept. 25 at 36001 1st Ave. S., a 12-year-old female student was found in possession of marijuana at school. She was released to her mother.

• At 4:35 p.m. Sept. 25 in the 31400 block of 10th Avenue South, a victim stated an unknown suspect stole a “McCain” campaign poster from her yard. The sign was found and erected once more. The following day, a suspect spray-painted offensive words on the resident’s mailbox. The victim feels the two incidents are related.

• At 7:50 a.m Sept. 23 in the 300 block of Southwest 323rd Street, a person reported multiple and reoccurring graffiti tagging. The suspect reportedly tags the neighborhood every Saturday, targeting mailboxes, utility boxes and street signs.

• At 11:23 a.m. Sept. 23 in the 2800 block of Southwest 320th Street, Child Protective Services was notified about a child being dragged by his or her hair.

• On Sept. 23 in the 3700 block of Southwest 319th Street, police responded to a sex offense. The victim stated she was molested by her 16-year-old cousin at a parent’s house. She stated her 15-year-old sister was molested by the same suspect approximately a month prior.

• At 6:26 p.m. Sept. 23 at 28518 20th Ave. S., a man reported receiving a letter stating there was suspicious activity on his credit card. The man then received a phone call about the matter. He contacted his bank and was told no such activity existed.

• At 1:12 a.m. Sept. 22 at 29500 Pacific Highway S., a driver was stopped for racing. The driver was also cited for a noise violation caused by the vehicle’s squealing tires.

• At 10:09 a.m. Sept. 22 at a multiple residency facility at 2511 S. 286th Place, a handgun was reported stolen.

• At 12:23 p.m. Sept. 22 at 32011 Pacific Highway S., two juveniles were arrested for trying to cash a forged check. The male juvenile admitted to the crime.
