Public Health closes Federal Way’s Mirak Restaurant

King County Public Health food inspectors closed Mirak Restaurant in Federal Way Thursday.
The restaurant, 31260 Pacific Highway S., Federal Way, was sited for the following food safety violations:
• Inadequate facilities to control temperature of potentially hazardous food, cold holding
• Foods not protected from cross contamination
• Thermometer not provided to monitor food temperatures
• Failure to correct repeated violations
The establishment will be reopened once the inspector confirms these issues have been resolved.
