Police searching for person of interest from Jan. 18 FW murder

Police identified the man as 25-year-old LaTre Stout.

Police are searching for a person of interest in a Jan. 18 homicide and are asking the public to send in any information they may have.

Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating LaTre Stout, 25, who is a person of interest in a homicide that occurred at approximately 3:32 p.m. on Jan. 18 in the 32200 block of 11th Place South, in Federal Way. In that incident, police responded to a shooting that resulted in officers locating a deceased 44-year-old man with a single gunshot wound, according to Federal Way Police Department Cmdr. Kyle Buchanan.

According to the King County Medical Examiner’s Office decedents list, the alleged victim was Kirshawn Dean LaMarche. LaMarche’s cause of death was a gunshot wound of the abdomen, and the manner of death was a homicide. The location was listed as a residence.

“The incident is believed to have started after subjects known to each other engaged in a fight,” Buchanan said. “The suspect is outstanding at this time and we do not believe there is a danger to the public.”
