PAEC fundraising campaign reports $812k raised

The Federal Way Coalition of the Performing Arts, the non-profit organization raising funds for the Federal Way Arts and Event Center, reported that it is nearing its goal of $1 million dollars, with donations now totaling $811,679 plus $65,200 in pledges to be collected.

Many of the naming opportunities have been secured within the facility, with Tom and Jan Crews naming the outdoor plaza, Dr. Jim and the Hon. Jeanne Burbidge naming the orchestra pit, Atomy Cosmetics naming the box office, Joann Piquette naming Meeting Room 1, the Federal Way Coalition of the Performing Arts naming Meeting Room 2, Jack and Linda Butcher naming the culinary arts kitchen, Marlene’s Market and Deli naming the mezzanine, H. David Kaplan naming the elevator, Richard and Elinor Shenk naming the green room and Betty and Bill Huff naming a star dressing room.

Rooms still available for naming purposes are the performance hall, the patrons lounge, the foyer, two ensemble dressing rooms, one star dressing room and the sound and lighting booth. The grand piano and the orchestra shell are also available for naming, plus many seats. The performance hall seats are priced from $2,500 in the front section to $1,000 in other areas, including the balcony.
